Washing a shirt
Washing the white and blue shirt
- Turn the shirt inside out
- Preferably wash it by hand in a lukewarm warm soapy water with little detergent. Then prod it and hang up as wet as possible
- Machine wash at 30 degrees
- Program: delicates, wool or shirts
- Use very little detergent
- Centrifuge revs 600 or less
- Remove immediately from the machine after washing
- Just as well prod your shirt
- Hang up on a hanger and tighten
- Moist ironing
Tips:
- Coat the inside of the collar and cuffs from day one with a remover, soft soap or soda ash. This way you keep your shirt white and clean the longest.
- Wash your white shirt with white laundry only. (no light colors)
- Wash your blue shirt only with light colors (no dark colors).
- Do not use synthetic deodorants. It prevents discoloration of the armpits of your white shirt.
- Always let your deodorant dry before you put on a shirt
- Hanging your black shirt outside for a night, saves a wash.
