The perfect white shirt also your favorite white shirt?
Back to simplicity, made with craftsmanship. A classic white shirt that can be worn always because of its appearance. Under a suit (with or without a tie) and both business and casual. It is not my goal to add the trendiest shirt to the Dutch man's wardrobe. Cees n co strives to be the favorite, classic white shirt in that closet and beyond. We wish you a lot of fun wearing it and hope that you will refer anyone who is looking for a classic white shirt, to this site.
Material:
A white, light blue and black classic shirt that is not subject to fashion trends. The fabric is a sturdy, crispy, densely woven poplin. Poplin distinguishes itself from other fabrics because it has more and much thinner chain yarns than weft yarns per cm.
Because we want to recycle to new raw materials, we use 100% cotton and exclude combinations with polyester and nylon. Moreover, we do not add chemicals like ammonia or highly concentrated lye solution. They deliver an iron-free shirt the first few washes, but after a while the effect is gone and the shirt has to be ironed as well.
Collar:
The shirt has a classic collar that closes with one button. The collar has removable ribs. Cees n co supplies two sets with different stiffness that can be used according to your preference. The fabric of the collar is strengthened with an extra heavy lining so that the collar stays nice longer. The stand of the collar is 40 mm and the length is 75 mm.
Cuffs:
The cuffs are single-sided cuffs with two buttons.
Buttons:
The shirt has silver white buttons with a mother-of-pearl shine.
Stitching:
cees n co has opted for a very fine stitching of 18 stitches per inch. This is in contrast to many shirts from other sources that are put together at 16 or 14 stitches per inch.
Serial numbers:
A label with a serial number is sewn into the stand of the collar. This number is relevant when paying the return discount. It makes every "perfect white shirt" from cees-n-co a unique one.
Made in Portugal
Our shirts are made at RCC a company specialized in men's shirts that have several top brands in their customer base. The fabric is manufactured especially for us at Somelos, also in Portugal. This way we keep our footprint as low as possible, the production process is transparent and we are assured of top quality.
The shirt is cut slim, regular fit and is also available in a slim fit version. The back is smooth, without extra folds. The cuffs are single-sided with two buttons and the classic collar has one button and removable ribs.
The shirt is relatively long with a tail shirt bottom, so it does not immediately slips out of your pants if you need to take something from the top shelf. For people with longer arms, we have a shirt length 7 in the different sizes.
Size:
Three guidelines are used to determine a size. These guidelines apply to both the regular shirt and the slim fit version. If your measurements are not in the table, a made to measure (M2M) might be a solution for you. Click here for this service.
Chest size:
Measure around your torso under the armpits on the fullest part of your chest. Consider some freedom of movement. So measure with a finger between the measuring tape and the torso.
Board:
Measure the base of your neck, where the collar should be. Make sure you have enough space so that you can still swallow. Or measure the collar of a shirt that fits you. Measure from the middle of the button to the end of the buttonhole.
Sleeve length:
The sleeve length is measured from the tip of the shoulder (shoulder bone) over the elbow, while your arm is slightly bent (angle of 30 to 45 degrees) to 1 cm beyond the wrist. For people with longer arms, we have a shirt length 7 in the different sizes.

Make sure you do not wash them too hot and never put them in the dryer.
Washing instructions
Preparation:
Untie all buttons and remove the ribs from the collar. Pre-treat the stains if any (see stains).
Wash:
At 40 degrees program wrinkle free. Preferably do not set the spin mode above 600 rpm. Do not be alarmed if the shirt is stiff after the wash, this will disappear when ironing. Do not leave it in the machine for too long, as wrinkles can settle.
Wash black shirts inside out, preferably by hand and rinse with a dash of vinegar. Carefully iron, if you iron too hot the seams may shine. A piece of cloth between the iron and the shirt can help.
To dry:
Don’t use the dryer, hang up wet on a hanger.
Ironing:
Use the iron on a hot setting with steam and preferably when the shirt is still a bit damp.
Stains
Collar:
Spray with a stain remover to remove dark edges at the collar or use a little soft soap, soak for a while and wash in the washing machine. This applies to both the white and the blue shirt.
Armpits:
Yellow discolouration in the armpits. Rub in with rinse aid from the dishwasher, soak for a few hours and then wash in the washing machine. You can prevent these stains by allowing your deodorant to dry properly before you put on the shirt.
Shrinkage
After the first wash the shirt will shrink a little, keep that in mind when fitting the shirt.
This will be 1 cm around, 1.5 in length and 0.5 cm for sleeves and collar. The shirts are cut this way, so if they are a bit tight we advise to change them for a larger size.
