What you need
- A steam iron, this makes ironing easy and makes your shirts wear out less quickly.
- A plant sprayer to moisten your shirts if they have become too dry.
- A good ironing board at standing height. Preferably with a soft carpet pad.
Ironing blouse at the correct temperature
The temperature of your iron is often indicated by dots on the wash instructions. These correspond to the dots on the temperature controller of your iron. My experience is that the temperature on the iron can be set to 3 dots ( or icon cotton) for the white and blue ceesnco shirts. The black shirt iron a little less hot.

Ironing the black shirt
It is best to iron your black ceesnco shirt from the inside out. This will prevent discoloration and damage to the seams ( going shiny). Should you still find that too complicated. Put a thin handkerchief between the bolt and the shirt so that the seams and fabric will not shine when you put a hot bolt on it.
Ironing of hem, shoulder and bodice
Start by unbuttoning all the buttons. Lay the back of the hem flat on the board . Iron the back side of the hem. Next, place one shoulder over the round tip of the ironing board so that one half of the front panel is on the ironing board. Pull on the shirt to get it nice and tight while ironing. In this way, gently start ironing all the panels all around bit by bit. Take your time. Make sure that the shirt is not folded in half anywhere so that you iron wrinkles into it. If that should happen, use a plant spray to moisten the creases and then iron them out again. Finally, iron the collar on the right side. Put the collar ribs back in.
Ironing cuffs and sleeves
Partially button the shirt and grab the sleeve by the side seam and tip of the shoulder. Lay it flat on the ironing board. Fold open the cuff and iron the inside of the cuff. Also carefully iron the sleeve slit nice and tight. Unfold the cuff on the right side and also iron the outside. Then place the sleeve back on the board as flat as possible (make sure there are no creases) and iron it nice and tight to the cuff.
